About Your
Personal Wellness Consultant

Hi.

My name is Sherri Stockman. Besides being a personal wellness consultant, I also own and operate a natural food store in Blanco, Texas .

Although my formal education isn't in nutrition (I have a Bachelor's Degree in Voice Performance), I have been interested and studied within this field for more than two decades now. I became a Registered Massage Therapist in 1990, and that really started things moving.

After I relocated to the Texas HillCountry --a lifelong dream-- I realized there was no place for me to shop for the healthy products I had grown accustomed to in the city. At least no place within 45 miles.

And so, since nobody else would do it, I took on the task of figuring out how to open a health food store in a small, rural, old, conservative town.

It took a bunch of explaining why Blanco would need a health food store (the Chamber of Commerce just didn't understand it in those days). Of course, all the old hippies back in the hills were ecstatic: they could buy their herbs (well, not ALL their herbs) and organic vegetables to boot.

The store gradually expanded over the years, and now we're in a 5,000 square foot building on the Town Square (the old historic hardware store) with a natural wellness clinic in the back. The perfect base for a personal wellness consultant.

We specialize in quality food supplements, organic foods, and emphasize local, sustainable, and fair-trade products. We also stock natural personal care and household cleaning items; books and music round out the offerings.

I spend a lot of time doing nutritional consultations, and I thought by building this website, I could save my voice for singing :-)
